What we collect
1. No ads or tracking
MLBB Knowledge does not run ads or tracking analytics, and does not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Creating an account is optional — browsing the site does not require one.
2. Email + password accounts
If you create an account with email and password, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never see or store your password in plain text) in our database, provided by Supabase.
3. Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google instead, Google shares your name and email address with us to create your account. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google itself collects during that sign-in.
4. Emails we send
We use your email only to send account-related messages — a verification code when you sign up, a welcome email once your account is created, a notification if your account's role is changed, and a code if you request a password reset. We never send marketing email.
5. Session cookie
Signing in sets a session cookie so you stay logged in between visits. This cookie is functional only — it is not used for tracking or advertising.
6. Theme preference
Your theme/color preference is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) — it is never sent to us, and you can clear it anytime by clearing your browser's site data.
7. Linking your MLBB account
If you choose to link your Mobile Legends: Bang Bang account, you provide your Game ID and Zone ID, which we send to the Rone Arena API (a third-party service) to verify you own that account via an in-game mail code. Once verified, we store your in-game name, avatar image, current rank, and highest rank on your profile. The temporary login token used for that one verification is never stored — it's used once and discarded. This is entirely optional; the site works fully without linking. You can unlink your MLBB account at any time from your Profile page, which removes this data immediately. Your in-game name, avatar, rank, and site join date are also shown publicly on our Leaderboard page, visible to anyone who visits the site.
8. Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all its data at any time from your Profile page, under Danger Zone — no need to contact us. If something goes wrong or you're unable to access your account, reach out on our Contact page (linked below) and we'll help.
9. Our Discord community
We run an optional community server on Discord, a third-party service. If you join, Discord collects and handles your data (such as your username and messages) under Discord's own Privacy Policy, not ours. We do not link your Discord account to your MLBB Knowledge account, and joining is not required to use the site. You can leave the server at any time.
10. Future changes
As we add features that collect more data, this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what is collected and why.
